After a twelve-week intervention period, all participating groups reported notable weight loss and decreased wst and hip measurements. Additionally, each group experienced favorable improvements in lipid profiles and blood sugar levels.
The study found that while fat-free mass a combination of lean muscle tissue and skeletal mass and blood pressure showed beneficial changes for the diet + exercise and functional trning-only groups but did not show significant improvement in the diet-only group alone.
